Today I am starting 30 Days of Python by Coding for Entrepreneurs. It may not take me 30 whole days, as I have a little python experience and some of it may be review. I will not rush through any of it. I will complete it, while making the best of the experience alongside some of the other items/tutorials I am doing.
Diving in, more later!
Update: Ok, a few hours later, and I have completed the first 6 days. So far, its basically been review for me. There are a couple things that I didn’t know, but they were not earth shattering. Time for a break, and then moving on to something else!
Update 2: (Next day) This morning I finally figured out that this course is not completely free… We get the first 14 days free, for the rest, we have to be enrolled. prices are $39/mo for monthly subscription, and $25/mo for annual. Assuming it is paid all at once… That is a bit steep for me right now. I will do the free days and go back to my other (fully) free stuff. I don’t have a problem with them charging, but in my opinion, Teamtreehouse is a better value.
Update 3: (The next next day…) My 30 days of code is “complete”. As stated above, the full 30 days is not free, (and I can respect that). I completed through day 9. On day 10, he begins to go into how to send email through gmail with python. The tutorial is broken up into multiple parts, and extends into the paid portions. I’m going to call this tutorial quits and move on to something else.
