A milestone has been reached!

I have successfully posted a virtualenv flask app to a web server, able to access it via a domain name, and installed an SSL cert from Let’s Encrypt. My happiness sounds more dramatic than it is, but i was stuck on getting the app hosted for longer than I want to admit.

Essentially, I am setting up a server to host the back end to replace parse server that I have on my app. Making it work on my laptop via localhost, is in itself, an accomplishment. But unless it can be reached from the outside, it would be pretty useless.

This process has taught me patience, perseverance, and being a web admin does not take me to my happy place… Once all my thoughts are in order, I will post a tutorial of what steps I took to get ‘er done. It took elements from different posts and problem solving to be victorious.
