“Accountability” goes a long way into guilting someone into doing something they have been wanting to do for some time.

As of tonight, section 3 of the iOS 9 course has been completed. (which relates roughly to about 10% of the course.)  The iOS course is still basically review for me at the moment. But it is good to go back and practice things I THINK I already know. Following along in a tutorial is one thing, understanding is another. We have just finished the section on connecting outlets, such as buttons and labels to code and the beginnings of functions, with the slightest brush on unwrapping.

Lesson 176 of FreeCodeCamp is DONE! (the drama was for me…) It marks the end of exposure to regular expressions in the main course. (for now. It could show up again later) A few more “waypoints”, and the Basic Javascript will be complete as well.

One day I hope to make this more interesting than just a fancy checklist. One day…
