It has been a while since I’ve posted, and there is no good excuse.
In the interim, I have completed a couple more courses on Udemy, but did not find them to be very compelling. The topics were interesting, but the takeaway was only mildly beneficial. (Was it the teacher, or the student?…) Either way, I want to delve into Geospatial, and Data Science & graphing a bit more on my own, or find other sources.
I began this blog to comment on my progress in an attempt to improve my programming skills. I’ve dabbled, poked and prodded, but never really had a focus on what to learn. The “which road is the correct one?” issue still exists, but my approach has changed. I am more focused on absorbing and UNDERSTANDING.
Admittedly, for many of the classes until now, I was partially just going through the paces, ticking off the “completed” box. Going forward, I want to take away as much as I can, and SHOW that I was paying attention! AKA, time to add to the Github account with meaningful content and projects.
That being said, I am in the middle of an iOS ARKit course that I am thoroughly enjoying! Now, the “problem” is figuring out what to create that will showcase that knowledge.
